Privacy and security are fundamental to Invoke's design. We're committed to keeping your data safe and under your complete control.
Your Data Stays Local
Invoke processes everything locally on your machine. Your source code, project files, and configurations remain on your system and never leave unless you explicitly choose to share them with an AI provider.
Direct AI Communication
When you interact with AI models, your messages are sent directly to the provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). Invoke acts as a bridge only—we never store, log, or intercept your conversations.
Anonymous Usage Data
We collect only anonymous usage data to help us improve Invoke's experience and features. This data is fully anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual users.
What We Never Collect
- Your source code or file contents
- Chat history or AI responses
- Personal information or identifiable data
- Project metadata or configuration files
Secure by Design
- API keys are stored locally in your environment only
- Anonymous-only telemetry used solely for product improvement
- Direct communication with AI providers only when you choose to initiate
